What a lovely day it was for Scott and Chloe’s beautiful classic themed wedding at Warwick House in Southam! It was one of my many times shooting at this gorgeous venue, and from the moment I arrived, I was straight into the flow of the wedding day.
The forecast had predicted an overcast day, so I’d dressed possibly a little more for the arctic ,jumper and all (I quickly regretted this choice!)! But summer had other plans. The sun made a surprise appearance and stuck around all day, turning the whole wedding into a golden, glowing celebration. I quickly realised I’d overdressed.
Preparation & Morning Anticipation
The day began in the bridal suite, focusing on Chloe a beautiful, calm, and excited bride. The light in the preparation room was perfect, allowing for soft, flattering images of final hair and makeup touches, and the intimate moments shared with her bridal party. The emphasis was on capturing the joy and anticipation in a candid, unobtrusive manner, preserving the genuine emotion of a young couple embarking on their journey.
Meanwhile, Scott and his groomsmen were captured utilising the classic styling of one of Warwick House’s lounge areas. The focus was on capturing the camaraderie, the shared laughter, and the composed energy of the groom as he prepared for the moment he would see Chloe walk down the aisle.
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the bright and airy gazebo, benefiting from the stunning natural light. The moment Chloe entered was the photographic peak capturing Scott’s immediate, heartfelt reaction to his bride. Following the ceremony, the drinks reception allowed guests to relax on the terrace while the I quickly and efficiently managed the Group Portraits against the distinguished façade of the house.
Scott & Chloe Couple Session was a high priority, utilising the most iconic areas of Warwick House. The beautiful Staircase Capturing elegant, timeless portraits that showcase the scale and luxury of the venue. The gazebo using the abundant natural light for bright, clean, and classic close-up portraits. The Gardens & Terrace allowing the couple a quiet moment for relaxed, natural interaction, capturing their young love in a beautiful, soft-lit setting. Minimal direction was given, allowing their genuine chemistry to shine through.
The Celebration & Reception
The atmosphere flowed into the Ballroom for the wedding breakfast and reception. The photography continued in a documentary style, capturing the lively mood, the energy of the speeches, and the genuine reactions of the guests.
The evening concluded with the first dance, a moment filled with movement and emotion. The goal was to freeze the atmosphere the warm lighting, the cheering crowd, and the perfect, loving embrace of Scott and Chloe as they began their life together.
