Over the years, I’ve photographed weddings across Warwickshire and the Midlands, from country houses and hotels to barns and vineyards. I’ve enjoyed returning to familiar places and discovering new ones, but it’s always the couples and the people around them who make each wedding different.

I’ve photographed many weddings at Coombe Abbey, and I enjoy working with the contrast between its atmospheric interiors and the light outside in the gardens. There’s room for both dramatic portraits and those quieter, natural photographs of the two of you together. Knowing the venue helps me choose where to photograph as the light changes, while keeping your plans and time with your guests in mind.

Ashton Lodge is one of my favourite places to photograph weddings, and I’ve enjoyed capturing celebrations here throughout the year. Debbie and Richard’s Christmas wedding was a lovely example: confetti outside, family photographs back in the warmth, and a little wander around the grounds for their portraits. I adapt the photographs to the weather and the couple, keeping everything relaxed and comfortable.
I’ve enjoyed photographing couples around the gardens and house at Kilworth. At Meghan and Callum’s wedding, we found a quieter spot in the courtyard where they could relax together away from their guests. Moments like these are a lovely opportunity for portraits, with a little encouragement from me whenever it helps you feel more comfortable in front of the camera.

I’ve loved capturing weddings at Skylark Farm, from the fun and laughter with family and friends to a few quieter photographs overlooking the fields. When the light and timing work for us, I particularly enjoy stepping out with couples for sunset portraits. The countryside makes a beautiful background, but it’s the way you are together that I’m looking to capture.
At Shustoke Barn, I enjoy photographing the reactions during the ceremony, followed by confetti and family photographs in the courtyard. The brickwork, archways and surrounding countryside give us different settings for couple portraits without wandering too far from the celebrations. At Laura and James’s wedding, we also made the most of the softer evening light for a few extra photographs together.
I’ve photographed weddings at Wootton Park and enjoy using the grounds to give couples a little breathing space for their portraits. The lakeside and woodland settings offer different possibilities, depending on the light and the weather. We can talk through the photographs you’d like beforehand, then keep things easy and relaxed on the day, with time to enjoy being with your guests too.
I’ve enjoyed photographing weddings at New Lodge Vineyard, where the rows of vines make a lovely setting for relaxed couple portraits. I like making the most of the surroundings without letting the location take over the photographs. A little time together, some gentle guidance when needed, and the natural moments between you are what bring the pictures to life.
Photographing Louise and Sam’s wedding at Moor Hall was such a pleasure. Their ceremony took place outside in the Sunken Garden, and there was plenty of laughter and emotion to capture as they celebrated with their guests. Later, we stepped away for a few relaxed portraits around the grounds in the evening light. It was a lovely balance of photographing the day as it happened and giving them a little time together.
Rebecca and Simon’s wedding at Ardencote gave us a little of everything from the British spring weather! I worked around the changing light, wind and showers, making the most of the setting when we could head outside. Their smiles and laughter mattered far more than a perfect forecast, and I enjoyed capturing the celebrations with their family and friends throughout the day.

I haven’t listed every Warwickshire and Midlands venue I’ve photographed in recent months, so reach out and ask me. Some venues I might only do once or twice a year, but know them well. Don’t be surprised if I’ve photographed your venue a few times in the last 24-36 months.
