Rugby School Chapel
It was a very hot and sunny day in June for the wedding of Jen & Johnny’s lovely wedding at Skylark Country Venue Hotel.
The day started with meeting Johnny in the morning capturing all of the guests arriving at the absolutely stunning Rugby School Chapel. Johnny and his groomsmen greeting all of the friends and family that arrived, with beaming smiles.
I hadn’t photographed at the Rugby Chapel before, but I was blown away with its history and sheer beauty. It was the perfect backdrop for Jen and Johnny’s beautiful wedding ceremony.
After The Ceremony
As we all left with the chapel and walked out we were hit with the British sun, it was a very very hot day, I had already applied SPF 50!
We captured a small number of group photos in front of the chapel, mostly with the groomsmen and then with the bridal party. Jen and Johnny wanted to get everyone to the venue quickly to get drinks with how hot the day had become.
Skylark Venue
Skylark Country Venue is surrounded by countryside views that go on for miles, absolutely stunning! The venue has a rustic charm with the wooden beams and pretty lights around the venue.

Photo Time
After applying lots more factor 50 sun cream to me and Jen we set off to capture the group photos, we had so much fun, the bridal party and grooms men had even more fun, creating lots of fun shots, Jen and Johnny even did a cartwheel, its a first wedding photography moment for me!
We did some beautiful romantic and fun style photos with Jen and Johnny around the field and under the lovely wooden structures.
We were all very red faced and a little warm the temperature reached 34! The guests and myself kept nipping in to the ceremony room where the air con giving us all a break from the heat.
The day
The day was an absolute pleasure to capture, with so much fun.
Rugby School Chapel was a stunning backdrop to any wedding day inside and out, it was an honour to be in the famous chapel.
Skylark was a stunning backdrop on a sunny day. I was so happy that the bride and groom just wanted to have fun wedding photos captured, not just traditional styled photos.
