What a lovely day it was for Frazer and Samantha’s beautiful wedding day at Warwick House in Southam! This venue is one of my personal favorites. shooting at this gorgeous venue many many times, and from the moment I arrived, I was straight into the flow of the wedding day after catching up with Charlie one of the Warwick House team members.
The forecast had predicted an overcast day, so I’d dressed possibly a little more for the rain than the chilly air we did have. Trainers on I was ready to get my steps in for this wonderful couple. Charlie and I had been looking forward to this wedding as Frazer and Sam were the sweetest couple ever!
Preparation & Morning Anticipation
The day began in the bridal suite, I popped up quickly to say hi to Samantha, she had already told me she didn’t want too much time spent on the getting ready shots. I got to work and took lots of candid and slightly posed photos of Samantha and her bridesmaid / daughter. Lots of candid getting ready shots with lots of smiles and what a calm room too.
I headed on downstairs to capture some photos of Frazer and the guests having a drink around the bar area. I also took some photos of the empty ceremony room. Photographing the details from the day is so important as these memories can easily be forgotten.
I met the bridal party at the lovely Warwick House stair case, ready to capture Samantha with her dad and for a first look.
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the main room, it was dressed in a classic timeless creams and light greens.
Frazer looked excited, he had asked me to give him a smile of when to turn around to see his bride, when he did he just beamed with the biggest smile. You could literally feel the love in this room today.
Sam and her father walked slowly down the aisle after her beautiful daughter.
The short ceremony was conducted by the Warwickshire team beautifully as ever! Once the formal paperwork had been completed, I did my mock up signing of the register with the new Husband and Wife!
Coming back down the aisle I snapped away at the smiling happy couple and all of their guests.
Portraits & Capturing Elegance
Following the ceremony, the drinks reception allowed guests to relax on the terrace while the I quickly and efficiently managed the Group Portraits against the distinguished façade of the house.
Frazer & Samantha’s Couple Session was a high priority, with the clouds turning a little grey, and it was getting a little chilly too. But Sam was happy to brave the elements to capture stunning photos. I utilising the most iconic areas of Warwick House. The beautiful Staircase Capturing elegant, timeless portraits that showcase the scale and luxury of the venue. The gazebo using the abundant natural light for bright, clean, and classic close-up portraits. The Gardens & Terrace allowing the couple a quiet moment for relaxed, natural interaction, capturing their love in a beautiful, soft-lit setting. Minimal direction was given, allowing their genuine chemistry to shine through. We flew through the couples photos, using a really nice relaxed style and lots of soft kisses and romantic poses.
The Celebration & Reception
The atmosphere flowed into the Ballroom for the wedding breakfast and reception. The photography continued in a documentary style, capturing the lively mood, the energy of the speeches, and the genuine reactions of the guests. The speeches were made by Frazer and his best man, lots of fond memories shared from Frazers best man, and then the beautiful story of how Samantha nd Frazer met and how their love story began. Myself and Charlie both had so much love for this story.
The evening concluded with the first dance, a moment filled with movement and emotion. The goal was to freeze the love flowing between the two of them. The warm lighting, the cheering crowd, and the perfect, loving embrace of Sam and Frazer as they began their new chapter together as Husband and Wife.
Not forgetting we also cut the cake, Sam got the giggles for this part.
As guests danced the night, Bali as ever did a great job with the music all night, Warwick Houses own DJ, defiantly add him into your wedding package!
