Weddings in Birmingham City Centre
Rob & Lydia's Birmingham Wedding
Rob & Lydia finally are having their ceremony in October inside the Birmingham Registry office based on Holliday Street. They were graced with such fabulous weather for an autumnal day. The ceremony was very short but with all of their closest family and friends attending to make the ceremony just what they wanted.
Intimate weddings are the kind where every moment feels personal. Every smile shared is genuine, and love fills the room in the most meaningful way. That was exactly the case for Rob and Lydia’s beautiful wedding ceremony at the Birmingham Registry Office. Its a celebration that reminded everyone in attendance that love, in its purest form, doesn’t need grandeur to be unforgettable.
Saying “I Do” at the Birmingham Registry Office
The ceremony took place in one of the elegant rooms at Birmingham Registry Office. A charming and tastefully adorned with soft lighting and classic décor. With just a few rows of chairs filled with beaming family and friends faces,
Rob and Lydia exchanged heartfelt vows in full view of their closest family and friends. Every word felt intentional and true, drawing smiles. There were no elaborate readings or dramatic flourishes. Simply just two people, promising to walk through life together, hand in hand.
As they sealed there vows with a kiss, the room came into gentle applause. It was a moment of pure happiness, no distractions, no fuss, just love.
The wedding photos
Rob and Lydia possibly thought I was a little crazy with the ideas I had to walk around Birmingham City Centre,. BUT Lydia and Rob went along with my ideas and really enjoyed the experience. When I sent over their gallery they loved the results!
We went out into the small courtyard area straight from the ceremony. Capturing all of the group photos Rob & Lydia had asked for. The 3 of us then went off to explore Birmingham to capture some amazing shots in and around the city centre.
The intimate reception
Finishing off Lydia and Rob wanted me to capture their other friends who were arriving at Noels Bar for the reception for an evening of great food and company celebration the wedding of Rob & Lydia.
Their post-ceremony gathering was held at a cosy nearby restaurant tucked away on a side street, where they shared a long table with their guests. The table was adorned with simple greenery, flickering candles, and handwritten name cards. It was intimate, heartfelt, and filled with laughter.
