I had the pleasure of being Louise & Sam’s wedding photographer for their beautiful wedding day at Moor Hall Hotel & Spa. Their day was filled with love, laughter and genuine emotion from beginning to end, with the stunning Sunken Garden providing the perfect backdrop for their outdoor wedding ceremony.There are some weddings that simply feel relaxed, joyful and full of genuine emotion from beginning to end, and Louise and Sam’s wedding at Moor Hall Hotel & Spa was exactly that.

Set within the beautiful grounds of the hotel, their day was blessed with gorgeous weather, allowing the ceremony to take place in the stunning Sunken Garden. Surrounded by close family and friends, the outdoor setting created such a romantic atmosphere, with the gardens providing the perfect backdrop as Louise made her way down the aisle.

Louise looked incredible in an elegant, timeless gown, while Sam couldn’t stop smiling as he saw her for the first time during the ceremony. From the emotional vows through to the laughter during the speeches, the entire day felt incredibly personal and relaxed.

The Sunken Garden at Moor Hall is such a fantastic space for outdoor weddings. The landscaped surroundings, stone features and greenery make it feel intimate whilst still giving plenty of room for guests to enjoy the ceremony outdoors. It also creates endless opportunities for natural, romantic wedding photographs throughout the day.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and celebrations in the gardens before everyone moved inside for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. As the sun began to set, we were able to take Louise and Sam away for a few relaxed portraits around the grounds, capturing some beautiful golden light moments together.

One of the loveliest parts of the day was how calm and happy everything felt. Louise and Sam simply focused on enjoying every moment with the people they love most, and that always creates the best atmosphere for genuine, natural wedding photography.
