What a lovely day it was for Courtney and Robert’s beautiful wedding day at Warwick House in Southam! This venue is one of my personal favorites. shooting at this gorgeous venue many many times, and from the moment I arrived, I was straight into the flow of the wedding day after catching up with Abbie one of the Warwick House team members.

The forecast had predicted an overcast day, so I’d dressed possibly a little more for the rain than the beautiful sun that came along, this keeps happening to me! But autumn had other plans. The sun made a surprise appearance and stuck around all day, turning the whole wedding into a golden, glowing celebration. We were so lucky the rain came down during the ceremony as fast as it arrived it had gone again ready for the photography to take place.

Preparation & Morning Anticipation

The day began in the bridal suite, I popped up quickly to say hi to Courtney, she had already told me she didn’t want getting ready shots. And when I arrived she was all ready to go, just her and her dad relaxed in the dressing room! I took a small amount of candid and slightly posed photos of Courtney and her dad. The photo she wanted was the lovely Warwick House stair case coming down with her dad.

I headed on downstairs to capture some photos of Robert and the guests having a drink around the bar area. I also took some photos of the empty ceremony room whilst Sandra the violinist was warming up. She is amazing check out her instagram!

I had a quick chat with Robert and reminded him about the rings he had accidently left in the room upstairs!

The Ceremony

The ceremony took place in the main room, it was dressed in a classic creams and light greens with a flower arch at the end. I knew Courtney and Rob had asked the Warwick House team to tape the 2 ring boxes under 2 chairs as a surprise who would be the 2 ring bearers?

Rob looked excited, he had asked me to give him the nod of when to turn around to see his bride, when he did he had tears in his eyes, thankfully tissues were passed quickly! Courtney came down the aisle with her father to the sound of the violin absolutely beautiful!

Dee conducted the short ceremony from the Warwickshire team beautifully as ever! The hidden rings went down a storm it was fun to see something different . Once the formal paperwork had been completed, I did my mock up signing of the register with the new Husband and Wife!

Coming back down the aisle we had discussed at the end a dip with a kiss, Courtney and Rob didn’t disappoint, with their family and friends cheering them on.

 Portraits & Capturing Elegance

Following the ceremony, the drinks reception allowed guests to relax on the terrace while the I quickly and efficiently managed the Group Portraits against the distinguished façade of the house.

Robert & Courtney’s Couple Session was a high priority, with the clouds turning grey. I utilising the most iconic areas of Warwick House. The beautiful Staircase Capturing elegant, timeless portraits that showcase the scale and luxury of the venue. The gazebo using the abundant natural light for bright, clean, and classic close-up portraits. The Gardens & Terrace allowing the couple a quiet moment for relaxed, natural interaction, capturing their young love in a beautiful, soft-lit setting. Minimal direction was given, allowing their genuine chemistry to shine through. And Courtney had asked for a couple of fun shots so of course I was all in, the sun was perfectly low too so this meant we could capture some sunset shots too, absolutely stunning.

The Celebration & Reception

The atmosphere flowed into the Ballroom for the wedding breakfast and reception. The photography continued in a documentary style, capturing the lively mood, the energy of the speeches, and the genuine reactions of the guests. The speeches were made even more sun with the cute tambourines Rob & Courtney had crafted as a keep sake on each guests place setting, they made more fun and noise for the speeches than ive ever heard.

The evening concluded with the first dance, a moment filled with movement and emotion. The goal was to freeze the atmosphere the warm lighting, the cheering crowd, and the perfect, loving embrace of Courtney and Rob as they began their life together.

We also cut the cakes, the chocolate caterpillars with wedding attire were very cute and showed the couples fun side.

As guests danced the night away with the tambourines and glow sticks, we even made some fun videos with the guests and social media.

Bali as ever did a great job with the music all night, Warwick Houses own DJ.

We headed out to do some night time shots too around the grounds, the couple were happy to get out of the warm room and into the fresh air.
