Some wedding days are built around grandeur and large celebrations. Others are centred entirely around the people who matter most. Kyla and Zade’s beautiful May wedding was exactly that intimate, relaxed, and full of genuine connection from start to finish.

Their ceremony took place at the elegant Coventry Register Office, within the stunning Library room. Surrounded by only their closest family members, the atmosphere felt incredibly personal and meaningful. There was no rush, no pressure just a quiet excitement and a real sense of togetherness as they officially became husband and wife.

The Library at Coventry Register Office is such a lovely setting for smaller ceremonies. Full of character and warmth, it creates the perfect backdrop for couples wanting something simple, stylish, and focused entirely on the moment itself. As Kyla walked into the room, you could immediately feel the emotion amongst their family, with smiles, and proud glances throughout the ceremony.

After the ceremony, we travelled over to the grounds of Coombe Abbey for their wedding portraits. May delivered some truly gorgeous weather for us bright spring sunshine, soft golden light, and fresh greenery everywhere across the parkland. There was just enough wind in the air to bring movement and energy into the photographs without taking away from the calm atmosphere of the day.

Coombe Abbey is always an incredible location for wedding photography. Between the historic architecture, sweeping pathways, lakeside views, and dramatic trees, every corner offers something unique. Kyla and Zade were completely relaxed together, which made capturing natural moments effortless. Whether walking hand in hand through the gardens or simply enjoying a quiet moment together away from everyone else, the photographs reflected exactly who they are as a couple.

What made this wedding so memorable was its simplicity. No huge timelines, no distractions just two people celebrating with the family closest to them, followed by a beautiful portrait session in one of Warwickshire’s most iconic locations. Sometimes the smaller weddings are the ones that feel the most personal, and Kyla and Zade’s day was a perfect reminder of that.

It was an absolute pleasure to photograph such a lovely and genuine couple, and to spend a beautiful spring afternoon capturing their first moments together as newlyweds.
