~ Professional Newborn Photographer Session – 16th February 2020 ~

I adore my newborn sessions meeting beautiful babies and their lovely parents.

Using pinks and creams to start with for Olivia-Rose I wrapped her in a pink wrap which quickly settled her back into a snuggly sleep, using my posing bean bag on a cream backdrop. Then adding subtle changes with different tie backs (headbands) and small felted hearts to give each image something unique.I then moved on to the set ups I had created for Olivia’s shoot, changing from the pinks to lilacs and purples on a dark wooden back ground using low lighting to give a deep depth to these images and a different style for mum and Dad.

Once the first set photos had been taken I changed over to my next set up again staying with the lilacs and purple tones I used my heart bowl and newborn bed and like a super star Olivia slept beautifully through the whole thing and transitions.

For the final part of my session with Olivia Rose I did gorgeous photos with her and her Mummy Charlotte and Daddy Luke, Olivia had a couple of restless moments through this part of the shoot. I really encourage my parents to relax and take their time I never rush my newborn shoots as all babies are so different and precious.

Olivia Rose did make her Mummy Charlotte giggle when she decided to have not just one but two little wee’s down Daddy’s leg!
