How many people can I invite to my Wedding?

[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Scratching your head and worrying about how Covid-19 is going to disrupt your Wedding Day? I think you’re not alone as the rules keep changing and on top of that there are local lock-downs which adds to the confusion. So don’t panic, let’s see if this article helps you a little.

Before I go on, its important to use every opportunity to thank our amazing NHS and emergency services for all there efforts to keep us all safe and well during this national and global crisis, so a big shout out to these amazing people! And we must appreciate that bringing people together to any event right now risks not only the event guests but the families, colleagues and anyone these guest subsequently come into contact with. So we must have covid-19 safety at the forefront of our wedding day planning. That said, we have resolved as a community to battle on with some form of sensible and considered normality, so celebrating your Love and Commitment for you partner in front of Family and Friends should continue if possible.

Currently the rules for Weddings in England (date of writing – 12th September 2020) allow for Couples to continue their wedding as long as your Wedding Party does not exceed 30 persons. The recent 9th September 2020 announcements banning more than 6 persons from gathering seems to contradict this rule and has throw many couples into unnecessary panic that their already reduced or reorganised wedding days would but ruined.

To clarify wedding days can still have unto 30 persons present, despite the 6 person ban, as Weddings are exempt.

I have to indemnify myself and remind you that in reading this article you must review the most recent official Covid-19 rules on official Government websites and established news channels. So here are some useful links below that are excellent for getting the most up to date official news and rules:
