It is also essential to look into logistical considerations, including time estimates, day-of-shoot management, facilities, handling multiple visits, urgency, and styling aspects. Once the brief is confirmed, clients can trust that the photoshoot will be professionally delivered.

Define Time Required

Client time preferences range from those with specific and detailed briefs to those seeking a more dynamic or creative approach. Some clients may allocate a set time period for capturing a variety of images. Emma is readily available to engage in detailed discussions about your requirements and help you clarify your time preferences. Tariffs typically align with Emma’s standard time bands, such as 2-4 hours, half days, or full days.

Tailor Quotation

Collaborating closely with clients, Emma ensures a well-defined brief, thorough discussions on commercial photography objectives, and considerations for creative and styling elements. Time requirements, including the need for multiple visits, are also covered in these discussions. This comprehensive understanding allows Emma to provide a quotation or estimate for dynamic shoots. Invoices are issued upon booking your shoot, with a payment term of 30 days post your shoot date.

Conduct the Shoot

Emma’s extensive range of Commercial Photography shoots is truly impressive, collaborations with Owners, Marketing Directors, and Creative Agencies in multi-disciplinary teams, as well as working individually with clients to fulfill their commercial photography needs. Before each shoot, Emma communicates setup requirements and logistics clearly, with a focus on ensuring discretion and minimising disruption. On the day of the shoot, Emma takes charge, ensuring that the process is conducted with effectiveness and efficiency, adhering to high professional standards.

Post Shoot Editing

After the photoshoot, Emma conducts a thorough review of the captured imagery. Depending on the brief, she collaborates with clients to pinpoint the commercial photographs intended for post-shoot editing. Editing ranges from light adjustments like cropping, resizing, and file formatting to moderate alterations such as modifying or manipulating images, including adjustments to skin, teeth, and eye complexions, or the removal of objects like overhead electricity wires and lamp posts. It may also involve subtle changes to the colours of skies and surfaces, progressing to more advanced forms of editing for substantial image alterations.

Sign off & Completion

Based on the brief, certain images may be integrated into graphic design compositions. However, the majority of images, after post-shoot editing, are presented to clients for approval, and any additional editing or modifications are implemented based on their feedback. Once clients are completely satisfied, the commercial photography shoot is officially signed off. Images are then released under a commercial license for use upon receipt of payment. Given the high satisfaction of numerous commercial photography clients, it comes as no surprise that many choose to re-book Emma for ongoing support.
