We are not sure who gets more excited for the Christmas Photoshoots at this time of year, Emma or her clients? It’s a very close call indeed. That’s because Emma’s Christmas Family Photoshoots are so much fun and bring the Christmas Spirit to everyone. Every year Emma will create various Christmas photography scenes, sometime these are favourite client scenes from previous Christmas photoshoots and sometimes they are brand new Christmas scenes. Please do speak with Emma to find out which scenes are making an appearance this year and of course if you have a favourite Emma may be able to accommodate the scene for you.

Christmas shoots can be organised as early as October and run up to December (please remember editing time is required post shoot)

Family CHRISTMAS PhotographY WITH EmMA Lowe
Hi, I’m Emma, I may not be Santa, or an Elf, but I’ll bring the Christmas Spirit to your Family Christmas Photoshoot. I’ve been doing these Christmas Photoshoots or Christmas Mini Photoshoots as they are sometimes called for many years now and they are so much fun for everyone.
I’ve seen adults smiling as much as the kids, but often the biggest smiles come after I’ve edited the photoshoot adding Polar Bears, Reindeer, Snow and various Christmas Scenes.
I only run a small number of Family Christmas Photoshoots every year, starting in October and running through to December. I can’t run to close to Christmas as I have to edit the images and have various Commercial shoots to edit as well.

HOW YOUR CHRISTMAS PHOTOSHOOT WORKS
TIME TO HAVE SOME CHRISTMAS FUN ......
My Christmas Photoshoots are all about having a great fun! Upon booking we will decide on which style of Christmas photo shoot you would like.
The options are:
- Christmas Mini Shoot – this is a 30 minute photoshoot for Children
- Candy Cane & Hot Chocolate Shoot – this is a 1 hour photoshoot for Infants
- Family Christmas Shoot – this is a 1 hour photoshoot for all the Family
My Christmas shoots are all about using your imagination, any composite images (manipulated and superimposed images) are put together via a white background. After the Photoshoot, that’s when the magic starts as I use my specialist photo editing software to transform your images adding in all sort of wonderful Christmas scenes. Your images transform into the magical Christmas photos you can see on My Gallery , from looking at Santa in a snow globe, to dancing with Snowmen!
On the Family Shoots my packages offer a handful of composite images but the main focus on the family Christmas shoot, using a lovely Christmas background setting, using greens, reds and golds for the main colour focus. I love the traditional colours!
Candy Cane & Hot Chocolate shoots are for little ones from sitting unaided to around 2 years this is very messy but that’s even more of the fun, using warm water and chocolate drinking powder your little one will enjoy chocolate splashing with marshmallows in the water. We do start this shoot with some dry photos first then head into the giant chocolate filled mug!
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU ON YOUR CHRISTMAS SHOOT
PERSONALISE WITH YOUR CHRISTMAS ACCESSORIES .....
It’s Christmas, so the obligatory Christmas jumper is always very welcome! My Family Christmas shoots are always fun to get matching jumpers, pyjamas, or just smart clothes, even add a Santa hat or reindeer antlers. Families in full matching Christmas all-in-ones have been known!
For the Christmas Mini Shoots you will need to think simple as these sessions are only 30 mins long. There is not a lot of time to change outfits. Christmas fun jumpers do work really well for the Christmas theme setting. For the snow scenes please remember to bring clean shoes or boots, hat, scarf, gloves or mittens and a coat as your child will be positioned in snow scenes, it might look strange with bare feet and shorts!
For the slightly messy infant Candy Cane & Hot Chocolate shoots, again these start with a nice Christmas outfit, then a quick strip down into swimwear. Please remember for this shoot, a towel is needed as your little one will be sitting in chocolate powder water, spare clothes and nappies if required. If you have a swimming nappies this is great to sit them in the mug too just in case we have an accident!
